The wait is finally over! Happy New Years! I have decided to take a step up and blog about my photography, crafts and designing. Because why not? I have carefully kept this website a secret and released my logo after Christmas. I was actually supposed to release the official logo today though it was one less thing for me to do right this moment. There is so many amazing things about to happen right now! What awesome things you may ask yourself? There is an Etsy Sale 10% off (excludes SVG files), Facebook Giveaway and Instagram Giveaway. How awesome is that? Very awesome if you asked me.
What can you expect out of this site? Updates about photography shoots because we have a huge one coming up very soon! Within this week you may see more amazing things in the Etsy shop. Here you’ll get more details about products I craft. There may even be tutorials that I’ll do. However, I am unsure if I’ll do a video walkthrough tutorial or snapping pictures. Time will tell. Will I do photography edit tutorials? Not really sure cause I tend to talk to myself and call tools other names. Baby steps.
As many of you can see there is a client gallery! This gallery is private unless the client ask to have it public. How does the client gallery work? Well, I create a username and the password is to the e-mail the client has given me. They also have the choice to download the album zip from there. Not only that they can comment on the album and have family members view the photo from there. It’s pretty nifty! And I am excited to use it for our first big gig coming up!
I have created a contact form just in case anyone wanted to get in contact to make custom anything or even photography. Yes, I have Facebook, Instagram, Etsy though sometimes it’s easy to just shoot a e-mail and sometimes hey it is what it is. Better have it then not aye?
This is a simple draft of my pricing sheet. Some prices may go down or up. It depends on how things go. This happens in a business though it’s nice to give people a general idea of what I charge.
While I have almost everything on Facebook it’s always nice to see simple work in one spot. I know my crochet work is what I have in my Etsy shop though I haven’t really been taking professional photos of my product until recently.
Anyways, let’s get on what’s the meaning of Creative Casso logo! I drew the lovely logo on my tablet and I am 100% pleased with how she turned out. That’s right. I won’t change my logo anymore for those who have been following since we had our first logo.
Creative Casso Logo Meaning
The Cat represents my first fur baby that I got at age 8 name Picasso. This is also my favorite animal besides Pandas.
The Moon/Triple Moon Goddess while it’s not really a triple moon goddess simple it’s close too it, however, even though the triple moon goddess is widely known as Wiccan her symbol originates from the Celts. The meaning of the moon for me is creativity and growth. The other two meanings are femininity and women. I see myself as a very creative person whose always thinking outside of the box. I use to make up stories or write poems while in class in high school. Not only that I am forever growing in my knowledge in what I do.
The Butterflies represent my Mimi (grandmother) she loved butterflies. There is a meaning to butterflies though which is rebirth, hope, our souls, change and there is seriously a lot of meaning. For me it’s rebirth and hope. The reason why I picked rebirth is because my first “business” idea for photography was “Angelic Memories Forever” and my graphic design business name “Radiant Designs”. Hope is well, hope. To keep me going.
The Pearls have different meanings depending on the color of the pearl. I decided to color my pearls pink with a tint of white. The pink meaning of a pearl is fame, good fortune and success. For me it’s success cause I could have quit this year with Creative Casso and I didn’t. I started this back in 2015 and I don’t plan to stop. White pearls represent purity, beauty, innocence and new beginnings. For me it’s the new beginning since I ever growing in my knowledge. I dropped the attitude of “I can’t” and decided this year of 2018 I can. And every year it will be a new beginning for Creative Casso, my family and I.
The Rose represents love. There is a lot of meanings for roses though it’s usually by the colors. I colored mine red for love. It’s all the love I have into this little business and my family/friends who support Creative Casso.
The Lotus has many meanings from different cultures. I go with Buddhism culture meaning. Since I did this I went for the color meaning also. The pink lotus flower is seen as devotion and purity. The reason why I color the lotus pink is my devotion for Creative Casso to become something and not give up on my true passions. Another meaning in the Buddhism culture for the lotus flower is patiences. I have waited until the right timing to officially launch and take action for a store. I have patiences when things don’t seem to go right even though I huff and puff. I don’t give up.
The Feather represents freedom. I am free from my negative thinking and most importantly what I think what people think of my work. I gladly accept criticism. I know what I exceed in and don’t. It won’t make me crawl back into my little ball that I have been doing since 2011 for photography or even crafting.
And that ladies and gentlemen is how Creative Casso logo became official and never changing. Granted now I have to get new business cards once my old ones are all gone though it’s all in the baby steps.
