Well, it’s been a while since I have posted anything since having my little girl and I decided to start this week off with a crochet review pattern since it’s been a while! This week’s review pattern is cowboy booties 0-3 months by LovinglyNie. I made these booties for my sister-in-law baby boy she is having next year. My little girl was very active when it came to this photoshoot so these are the only photos I could get successfully with her. Nobody ever warns you about the active babies. I did write a review for the cowboy hat and will be posting that this weekend.
This is a free youtube tutorial.
- 5mm hook
- One Pound Lace
- Red Heart
- Crochet Needle
My overall thought of this pattern? This pattern is super adorable! Very easy to follow and make sure you follow the directions she gives because it is easy to get lost when crocheting these boots making the boot sides curve off-center. This was my mistake and I had to go back and fix it.
Do these booties fit 0-3 Months? Yes!! The only drawback is if you have a very highly active baby, which I do, of course, the boots are easy to come off with a highly active little one though if you can get your little one to stay asleep then the booties will stay on.
Cowboy Booties Beginner Easy? Not really, but with it being a youtube video this is very helpful for those who can pause and resume and crochet along.
My rating for this Youtube pattern? A+ amazingly easy to follow! Just remember to follow her directions and you cannot go wrong.
