Croissant Emoji Crochet Pattern

Today is national croissant day! I decided to attempt to make a croissant emoji crochet pattern! My oldest son is super excited about this plushie I have created for him. This pattern is super fun and somewhat not beginner friendly though not too much of a struggle.

Materials

  • 4.00 mm crochet hook
  • 3.75 mm crochet hook
  • Crochet needle
  • Caron one pound taupe
  • Red, black, and pink felt
  • Red, black and pink thread
  • Needle thread
  • Polyester stuffing

Abbreviations

  • MC: Magic Circle
  • INC: Increase
  • CH: Chain
  • SC: Sc around
  • DEC: Decrease
  • SL ST: Slip Stitch
  • F/O: Fasten Off

Round 3-7: sc around (12)
Round 8: sc in the next sc, inc (18)
Round 9-10: sc around (18)
Round 11: sc in the next 2 sc, inc (24)

Round 14: sc in the next 3 sc, inc (30)
Round 15-16: sc around (30)
Round 17: sc in the next 4 sc, inc (36)

Assembly

  • Before sewing with the wrap, warp it around the croissant to get an idea of where you want your placement. Below is where I put my placement.
  • Apply the heart eyes to row 6 to 9 with 8 1/2 stitches apart
  • Apply the blush round row 10 and 11 with 6 stitches apart
  • Apply the mouth at row 48-49 in the center
